The beggning

Well here I am, 32 year old Mexican male, I currently tip the scales at 371 lbs... i think, see when you weigh this much conventional scales do absolutely no good. But that's how much I was at my last doctors visit over a month ago, for now that's where I'll leave my starting point.

The diet started 3 days ago on Tuesday May 3rd 2011, I'd been talking about it for ages, but never wanted to give up my addiction with food, and yes I see it as being an addict.

I've stuggled with weight all my life, I've been a slave to food, there was no greater feeling then bitting into a sweet heavenly blissful pastry... but I've come to realize that if I keep going at my current course that I will eat myself into an early grave.

I was drinking 3 litters of coca cola a day, having loaded breakfast burritos, eating a combo at a local fast food joint and coming home to buying out food and still enjoying all the sweets I could get.

Not in anyway healthy at all, one day I'll sit down and figure out how many calories, fat and sugar I was consuming a day, but for now I'll keep on with the plan.

The Plan:

It's based off of a very popular weight loss chain, don't want to mention the name for now, but we'll keep it at a FAST weight loss system.

Consume 5 meal supplements a day and one lean meat, very green meal while keeping the cost of the diet relatively low.

I had originally thought I weighed in at 365lbs, come to realize I was a bit off, so the plan is 156 lbs from 371 that would put me at a comfortable 215 pounds and as every thing should have a time limit I'd like to get as close to that number within 365 consecutive days...

I've been on track for 3 days now, I'll admit I've been weak sometimes, but haven't given into temptation, no soda has passed my lips in 72 hours, no unscheduled sugar.

I look to my wife who has also decided to undertake this quest for support and the mastermind on how to make the meal supplements that much more palatable. There's no way I would've made it this far without her mixing ingredients like a mad scientist on a mission, introducing Chocolate Caramel, Banana Chocolate, Strawberry, Chocolate Chocolate and My favorite Caramel Latte (great for mornings). Thank you honey, I love you.

For now I'll leave whoever is reading this with this my first quote of the day:
"I'd love to say that I'm doing this for my wife and my kids,
but really I'm doing it for me. All other effects afterwards are
bonuses." - Me

Thank you for reading this,

Regards,

Zamoody.
